Wellington, FL – February 9, 2015 -The Ridge at Wellington’s Turf Tour is travelling back to the International Polo Club Palm Beach (IPC) for its sixth week of competition. This week’s events will take place on Wednesday, February 11 and Friday, February 13. In addition to the ever-popular 1.30-1.35m classes, Wednesday will offer low and medium schooling jumpers. Friday will see the Grand Prix running all day in the main ring, and low and medium schooling jumpers running in the second ring.

Christoph Sandmann (GER) finished second, ahead of Exell’s biggest opponent, IJsbrand Chardon (NED). The Australian won the FEI World Cup™ Driving champion title for the sixth time, once more than the previous record holder Germany’s Michael Freund.

wire win in Sunday’s $75,000 Wishing Well Stakes for older fillies and mares at 6 ½ furlongs down Santa Anita’s hillside turf course. A 5-year-old English-bred mare, Birdlover prevailed by a half length and got the distance in 1:13.22.
