Tim O’Connell rides Craig at Midnight to shake off slow start

LAS VEGAS – The first two rounds of the Wrangler NFR were unkind to two-time defending bareback riding champion Tim O’Connell.  He failed to place in either round, meaning no extra money. Yet he still held first place in the world standings.
That lead grew quite a bit after O’Connell won Round 3 with an 88.5-point ride on Powder River Rodeo’s Craig at Midnight in front of 17,031 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Saturday, Dec. 8.

Robust Upper and Middle Market Fuels Successful Keeneland September Yearling Sale

LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 25, 2016) – Keeneland’s September Yearling Sale ended Sunday with solid results driven by a competitive market and active participation from the world’s deepest buying bench. The sale produced nine yearlings that commanded $1 million or more, led by a Scat Daddy colt sold for $3 million to be the highest-priced horse sold at public auction anywhere in the world this year.

WNFR 2015 Rusty Wright continues family’s winning legacy

LAS VEGAS – Rusty Wright has watched his father and uncles take victory laps many times over the years in Las Vegas, and now he’s experiencing his own.
The 20-year-old saddle bronc rider won Round 7 of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo presented by Polaris RANGER with an 83-point trip on Frontier Rodeo’s Tip Off. It was his second win in four nights, as he also was tops in Round 4.
