LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 26, 2016) – Makin’ Sense, ridden by Calvin Borel, held off late charges from Moonlight Sky and Fitpitcher to win the $62,000 Upson Downs Purse for fillies and mares by a head before a Wednesday afternoon crowd of 9,928.

Nine Built Ford Tough Series bulls selected to go head-to-head for 2016 World Champion title
PUEBLO, Colo. – Nine bulls have been chosen as the competitors for the 2016 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) World Champion Bull title in Las Vegas on Nov. 2-6. Each bull has competed on the Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) this year and has shown what it takes to be classified as a world champion.

This Sunday, Franklin squares off against Nashville, and gates open at 11:45 p.m. with the first ball dropped at 12:30 p.m. General admission tickets are only $10, and kids 10 and under get in free. Kids activities will be happening all day, and the adults are welcome to meet the ponies too!

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 13, 2016) – Steve Landers Racing’s Illussion Artist got up in the final strides to edge Etiquette by a neck to win Thursday’s $62,000 Hagyard Purse for fillies and mares before a crowd of 10,054.

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 9, 2016) – Fletcher and Carolyn Gray’s homebred I’m a Chatterbox swept past pacesetting Paid Up Subscriber at the head of the stretch and drew away for a seven-length victory to win the 61st running of the $500,000 Juddmonte Spinster (G1) for fillies and mares. The Sunday afternoon crowd of 18,454 boosted the Oct. 7-9 Fall Stars Weekend attendance to a record 66,437, topping the 62,454 figure established in 2006.

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 7, 2016) – Chadds Ford Stable’s Dancing Rags swept past pace-setting Caroline Test at the top of the stretch and had more than enough left to hold off a late bid from Daddys Lil Darling to win the 65th running of the $400,000 Darley Alcibiades (G1) for 2-year-old fillies by a length before a Fall Meet record Friday opening-day crowd of 19,882. The previous Friday opening-day Fall Meet record was 19,026 established in 2011.
Milestone Trophy Program celebrates Keeneland’s rich 80-year history of racing
