Bull Riders take center stage at National Western on Monday

DENVER (January 17, 2017) — Jake Brown’s 2016 season got a big boost when he won the bareback riding title at the National Western Stock Show Rodeo.
He’s back in Denver this year and working towards a similar result. Brown rode here on Monday afternoon scoring 74 points. He had his second horse on Tuesday night where he wowed the crowd with an 85.5 point effort.

Brooke USA Launches Campaign to Honor World War One Horse Heroes by Helping Today’s Working Equines

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Jan. 16, 2017 – This year the U.S. will commemorate its World War One Centennial by marking the 100th anniversary of its entry into the bloodiest war of the century. As part of the commemoration, Brooke USA will remember the one million American horses and mules who served alongside their brave soldiers, by raising one million dollars to improve equine welfare around the world through their Horse Heroes campaign.

Women Win $75,000 Battle of the Sexes Presented by Wellington Regional Medical Center at the 2017 Winter Equestrian Festival

Wellington, FL – January 14, 2017 – The atmosphere in the International Arena at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) was charged with excitement Saturday night, as the women took victory over the men in the $75,000 Battle of the Sexes, presented by Wellington Regional Medical Center, during week one of the 2017 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF).

Wellington, FL – January 15, 2017 – Week one of the 2017 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) concluded on Sunday, January 15, with a win for Daniel Coyle (IRL) riding Ariel and Susan Grange’s Cita in the $75,000 Rosenbaum Mollengarden PLLC Grand Prix at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) in Wellington, FL. Conor Swail (IRL) and Flower finished second, and Catherine Tyree (USA) and Bokai placed third.
