BELMONT, N.Y. – The fourth annual Belmont Stakes Parade is a prelude to the much-anticipated 144th running of the Belmont Stakes, which will feature I’ll Have Another in his attempt to become the 12th thoroughbred in racing history to capture the Triple Crown at Belmont Park on Saturday, June 9.
Wellington, FL – May 24, 2012 – A second Polo Patron has made a major commitment to Wellington with the purchase of a large parcel of land in Wellington Preserve. Previously, public records show that Zacara Farm had also purchased over 100 acres in Wellington Preserve in the past year.
The most recent sale was brokered by Diane Jenkins, of Jenkins Realty, for the Seller and Brad Scherer, Atlantic Western and Carlos Arellano, Southfields Realty, for the Purchaser.
Wellington Preserve is located on 50th Street, between 120th and 130th Avenues in the Equestrian Preserve area of Wellington. The property had once been considered for the relocation of the equestrian showgrounds and subsequently sat idle for sometime due to its connection with the insolvent insurer, CLICO (Bahamas). The remaining 261 acres, some of which are currently under contract according to Diane Jenkins, the listing agent, are well positioned to attract additional polo aficionados and other equestrian uses.

Pepperell, MA – May 17, 2012 – During the weekend of June 8-10, 2012, the New England Breed Show Series and the Young Horse Show wuk be held at Ten Broeck Farm in Pepperell, MA. The Young Horse Show, featuring $2,500 in cash prizes, will be held on Friday, June 8th, and the New England Breed Show Series, featuring two qualifiers and NEDA Sweeps, will continue on Saturday and Sunday at the top class facility.
The 3rd Annual Tennessee Equine Grand Prix Celebration will be held at Brownland Farm in Franklin, one of the most beautiful horse show grounds in the nation.
