SISTERS, Ore. – Chason Floyd’s family owns a ranch in the northwest corner of South Dakota, where he helps work 700 head of cattle whenever he’s not on the road competing. Given recent events, he’s unlikely to see that place or the backsides of those cattle in Ludlow any time soon.

John Pearce and Chianto Carve Out the Win in the $30,000 Kathy and Brad Coors Family Grand Prix at Colorado Horse Park

Parker, CO – June 11, 2013 – The Kathy and Brad Coors Family Grand Prix Arena was christened on the first week of the Colorado Horse Park’s Summer in the Rockies in a ceremony during the $30,000 Kathy and Brad Coors Family Grand Prix. A field of 12 horse and rider combinations accepted the challenge of Hector Loyola’s technical track, but it was Canadian John Pearce who expertly navigated the jump-off round, besting the rest with long-time partner Chianto, owned by Forest View Farm and Allison Moore.

Eirin Bruheim and NLF Billy On Show Victorious in CSI2* 1.45m Open Jumper Grand Prix at Global Champions Tour London

London, England – June 10, 2013 – The winning streak for Norway’s Eirin Bruheim continued this weekend during the Global Champions Tour’s (GCT) first event in London, England. The star-studded line-up featured the world’s top riders, and on Sunday June 9, it was Bruheim who led the victory gallop after winning the CSI2* 1.45m Open Jumper Grand Prix aboard NLF Billy On Show, owned by Nordic Lights Farm of Tomball, TX.

Silent Auction, Clinic, Dinner Party Benefit Damien Gardiner Medical Fund

Horseman Damian Gardiner was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and has no health insurance. A number of West Coast equestrians are banding together to raise money for his treatments and continued care.

California Rodeo Salinas gives back to Local Non-Profits Over $350,000 to benefit organizations in the Salinas Valley

SALINAS, CA, August 17, 2012 – The California Rodeo Salinas is a premier event in the community, non only because of the prestige and tradition of the event, high attendance numbers and a big impact on the local economy, but because each year the organization gives back a significant amount of money to local charitable organizations. These groups often work out at the Rodeo and other events at the Salinas Sports Complex providing various services and executing vending activities such as parking cars, selling programs, selling hot dogs, bussing and cleaning various areas and more.
