To rally the troops for the first-ever Barn Night in the Bluegrass, presented by Group C, on Nov. 1, Alltech representatives visited 50 barns throughout central Kentucky with Barn Buckets. Kids excitedly jumped up and down last week as Alltech staff members dropped off a bucket containing goodies and tickets to Alltech’s Barn Night in the Bluegrass, which will be held during the Alltech National Horse Show, Oct. 29-Nov. 3.

WESTPORT, CT – September 9, 2013 – Over $275,000 in grants were awarded in 2013 to 75 charitable organizations dedicated to horse welfare in 26 states and the District of Columbia, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
Horseman Damian Gardiner was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and has no health insurance. A number of West Coast equestrians are banding together to raise money for his treatments and continued care.
SALINAS, CA, August 17, 2012 – The California Rodeo Salinas is a premier event in the community, non only because of the prestige and tradition of the event, high attendance numbers and a big impact on the local economy, but because each year the organization gives back a significant amount of money to local charitable organizations. These groups often work out at the Rodeo and other events at the Salinas Sports Complex providing various services and executing vending activities such as parking cars, selling programs, selling hot dogs, bussing and cleaning various areas and more.
