Buckets Build Excitement for Barn Night in the Bluegrass

To rally the troops for the first-ever Barn Night in the Bluegrass, presented by Group C, on Nov. 1, Alltech representatives visited 50 barns throughout central Kentucky with Barn Buckets. Kids excitedly jumped up and down last week as Alltech staff members dropped off a bucket containing goodies and tickets to Alltech’s Barn Night in the Bluegrass, which will be held during the Alltech National Horse Show, Oct. 29-Nov. 3.

The Barn Buckets were generously donated by Hadfield’s Saddlery. Trainers and children were very appreciative that the Alltech representatives visited their barns in person and were excited to go to the Kentucky Horse Park to participate in this new event and have a chance to win a trip to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 in Normandy. The top farm prize, a golf cart from Group C, drew “ooohs” and “ahhhs” by the children, parents and trainers. Alltech is excited to start this relationship with local barns and plans on visiting the barns again before the Alltech National Horse Show to collect the sign-up sheets.

Barn Night in the Bluegrass encourages participants to make banners, dress in horse gear and wear their barn’s logo for spirit competitions to be held during the evening’s festivities. Barn Night spirit prizes include year-long subscriptions to Sidelines magazine, official merchandise of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 in Normandy, a year’s supply of LIFEFORCE Elite™ natural digestive supplement for horses, and a Lyons Farm® barn grill-out package sponsored by Alltech. The barn or equestrian group that shows the most spirit will win a golf cart for their facility provided by Group C. One super-spirited Barn Night participant will win a trip for four to attend the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 in Normandy, France!

Barn Night in the Bluegrass sponsor Group C is a specialty barn that focuses on bringing out the full potential of both the young horses and the dedicated riders that they work with. Group C is proud to announce the opening of their brand new, state-of-the-art training facility in Lexington, Ky. Barn Night is supported in part by Sidelines magazine and the Kentucky Horse Council.
