Pepperell, MA – May 17, 2012 – During the weekend of June 8-10, 2012, the New England Breed Show Series and the Young Horse Show wuk be held at Ten Broeck Farm in Pepperell, MA. The Young Horse Show, featuring $2,500 in cash prizes, will be held on Friday, June 8th, and the New England Breed Show Series, featuring two qualifiers and NEDA Sweeps, will continue on Saturday and Sunday at the top class facility.
The $2,500 Young Horse Show Series was designed to provide sporthorse breeders, as well as owners, trainers and riders of all disciplines an affordable show venue to introduce and evaluate their young horses to the show environment and “put on necessary mileage” with appropriate and special classes suitable to the proper development of young horses. It also intended creates a sales environment where numerous young horses are in a single location and their talents displayed in front of a buying audience. All horses and ponies, yearlings to five year olds, which are being prepared to compete in Jumpers, Dressage, Eventing or Hunters, are eligible to compete during the event.

Ten Broeck Farm owner and professional hander Phil Silva will be available for handling services and handling lessons. Silva recently returned from Equine Affaire in Ohio, where was charged with handling the young stallion Festivo.
The New England Breed Show Series will begin on Saturday with the Ten Broeck Farm Dressage Sport Horse I, and will be followed on Sunday by the Ten Broeck Farm Dressage Sport Horse II, Qualifying for Great American/USDF Breeders and the New England Championship Series.

Finally, on the evening of Saturday, June 9, 2012, Phil and Orintha Silva will be hosting a special benefit event for the Community Hospice House entitled “Celebrating Our Angelic Partners.” Guests will be welcomed with hors d’oeuvres, before enjoying a delicious catered dinner to be followed by an entertaining equine show.
