AGAIN IS ONE OF FIVE BREEDERS’ CUP ‘WIN & YOU’RE IN’ CHALLENGE RACES

ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 1, 2016)—Superstar California Chrome was sensational yet again at Santa Anita on Saturday, taking the Grade I, $300,000 Awesome Again Stakes in gate to wire fashion by 2 ¼ lengths over rival Dortmund, who pressured him early. Ridden by Victor Espinoza and trained by Art Sherman, California Chrome covered 1 1/8 miles while geared down in 1:48.07, and thus served notice to the world that at age five, he is the horse to beat in the $6 million Breeders’ Cup Classic at The Great Race Place on Nov. 5.

Triple Crown Winner American Pharoah To Jog Friday Around 6:45 A.M.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Thursday, June 11, 2015) – Triple Crown winner American Pharoah has been walking the shed row of Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert’s Barn 33 daily since returning to Churchill Downs on Sunday, but he’s scheduled to return to the track Friday around 6:45 a.m. for a clockwise job around the one-mile oval.

American Pharoah bids for Triple Crown in G1 Belmont Stakes

ELMONT, N.Y. – American Pharoah will attempt to become the 12th Triple Crown winner and first since Affirmed in 1978 when he contests the 147th running of the Grade 1, $1.5 million Belmont Stakes on Saturday at Belmont Park.

The third leg of the Triple Crown is the highlight of the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival presented by DraftKings.

KENTUCKY DERBY’S TOP THREE HAVE PREAKNESS ON RADAR

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Sunday, May 3, 2015) – To set the stage for his press conference Sunday morning to reflect on this fourth victory, Hall of Fame trainerBob Baffert brought the star of the 141st Kentucky Derby — American Pharoah — out of the barn to pose for the cameras.

Bribing him with carrots, Baffert led the Zayat Stables colt to different parts of the circle of media and fans for photos and admiration. Several people reached out and petted the colt’s nose. After about 10 minutes of show, Baffert sent American Pharoah back to his stall and moved into the tell part of the program.

AIN’T NO OTHER ADDS BLINKERS AND ROLLS TO VICTORY WITH BEJARANO IN $100,000 SENSATIONAL STAR STAKES, TOMMY TOWN HOMEBRED TRAINED BY HOLLENDORFER

   ARCADIA , Calif. (Feb. 24, 2013)—Trainer Jerry Hollendorfer, fresh off victory in Saturday’s Grade II San Carlos Stakes, fitted veteran gelding Ain’t No Other with blinkers for the first time and the result was a three quarter length victory in Sunday’s $100,000 Sensational Stakes for older horses bred in California at 6 ½ furlongs down Santa Anita’s hillside turf course.  The 5-year-old son of Old Topper negotiated the course in 1:11.53.
