Madden and Simon win opening competition for USA

America’s Beezie Madden and Simon won the first competition of the Rolex FEI World Cup™ Jumping Final 2013 at Gothenburg, Sweden tonight. In a field of 39 starters from 17 countries, the 49-year-old from Cazenovia, New York produced the quickest run when 17th to go with the Dutch-bred gelding Simon, stopping the clock in 62.28 seconds to set a target that could not be bettered.

Nicholson Rides To Early Lead at Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event, Presented by Land Rover

Lexington, KY, April 25, 2013 — Andrew Nicholson of New Zealand guided Calico Joe to the best score (40.8 penalties) on the first day of dressage at the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event, Presented by Land Rover. Becky Holder of the United States, on Can’t Fire Me (44.2), stands second, and Shandiss McDonald of Canada, on Rockfield Grant Juan (45.7), stands third.

USET Foundation Presents Pinnacle Cup to Allison Springer

Lexington, KY – May 2, 2012 – The United States Equestrian Team Foundation is pleased to announce that this year’s recipient of the Pinnacle Cup Trophy at the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event CCI**** is Allison Springer of Upperville, VA. Springer and her horse Arthur were the highest placed U.S. pair, finishing in second place at the top event, held April 29-29, 2012. Her remarkable score earned her the Pinnacle Cup Trophy, the red ribbon finish and the prize for best-conditioned horse.
