SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The nation’s finest horses, top jockeys and best trainers will once again gather in upstate New York when historic Saratoga Race Course commences its 144th season of racing on Friday, July 20, with the Grade 1, $1 million Travers the centerpiece of a glittering 40-day meet that runs through Labor Day, September 3.

Good Tables, Seats Available Through Del Mar Group Sales
Good tables and seats for the 37-day Del Mar meeting are available now at discounted prices through the track’s Group Sales Department.
The seaside oval’s 75th anniversary year kicks off on Wednesday, July 18 and runs through Wednesday, September 5. Racing is held Wednesday through Sunday, with an additional day thrown into the mix on Labor Day Monday, September 3.
The only real requirement to take advantage of the Group Sales special locations and discounts is to have a party of at least 20 wanting a day at the races.
Tables in the popular Stretch Run Grill have been put aside for group purchase for as low as $52 on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Those same tables are available on Fridays and Saturdays for $100. The four-top tables, with full food and beverage service, include admissions and programs for all.
Additionally, tables of 10 on the sixth-floor Il Palio Restaurant Patio may be reserved on many afternoons throughout the summer. The cost, which also includes admissions and programs, is $20 per person on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and $25 per person on Fridays and Saturdays.
Those merely wanting good seats in either the Clubhouse or Stretch Run can take advantage of special prices offered through “Groups.” Clubhouse seats are $12 each, while ones in Stretch Run sell for $8. Prices apply for all days of the week and admissions and programs are part of the package.

Full-Season Discount Passes Offer Fine Del Mar Value
Del Mar again is offering high-value, full-season passes to its 37-day meeting at a greatly reduced price. The passes are only $25 for Stretch Run admission and $50 for Clubhouse, good all afternoons from opening July 18 to closing September 5.
Normal Stretch Run admission is $6 per day, while Clubhouse prices are $10.
