Ten Broeck Farm Wraps Up Successful Season in 2012

Pepperell, MA – November 28, 2012 – Ten Broeck Farm, a full service dressage training facility owned by Phil and Orintha Silva, completed a whirlwind 2012 season. In addition to teaching dressage and training young sporthorses, the season included hosting several large regional events, participating at select major shows, and providing the venue for shows and keurings sponsored by various equine organizations.

SUPER STAUT REIGNS SUPREME IN STUTTGART

Kevin Staut broke German hearts today when, despite all the odds being in favour of a home-side win, it was the Frenchman who came out on top in the fifth qualifying round of the Rolex FEI World Cup™ Jumping 2012/2013 Western European League series at Stuttgart.  Partnering the on-form grey mare Silvana HDC, Staut snatched what looked like certain victory from Germany’s Marcus Ehning and Noltes Kuchengirl when quicker by a margin of just one-hundredth of a second in an action-packed 11-horse jump-off against the clock.

Impressive Maiden Winner Flashy Gray Brings $775,000 on Tuesday at Keeneland

LEXINGTON, KY (Nov. 13, 2012) – Flashy Gray, a two-year-old filly by Flashy Bull who broke her maiden by 10¼ lengths at Churchill Downs on November 8, sold for $775,000 to West Point Thoroughbreds and Tom Keithley, contributing to double-digit gains across the board during Tuesday’s session of the November Breeding Stock Sale.
