Harrisburg, PA – October 16, 2012 – The best young riders in the country gathered at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show this weekend to compete during the 2012 Randolph College/USEF National Junior Jumper Championships. Leading the way was 18-year-old Abigail McArdle of Barrington, IL, who helped Zone Five capture the USEF Prix de States Team Championship and later went on to earn the Individual Junior Jumper Reserve Championship aboard Cosma 20.
Meg O’Mara of Rumson, NJ, bested a field of 257 junior riders to win the prestigious Pessoa/US Hunter Seat Equitation Medal Finals, presented by Randolph College, at the 67th Annual Pennsylvania National Horse Show on Sunday. It was an emotional time for O’Mara. The announcer just finished naming Lillie Keenan of New York, NY, the Reserve Champion. When she realized that the Championship title was hers, the 18-year-old put her hand over her face to hide her tears.
Dana Scott is Practically Perfect to Win the $7,500 Randolph College/USEF Junior Jumper Individual Championship at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show
Dana Scott of Wilton, CT, captured the gold medal riding KM Whatever RV in the $7,500 Randolph College/USEF National Junior Jumper Individual Championship at the 67th Annual Pennsylvania National Horse Show on Saturday evening. The 17- year-old rider was nearly perfect finishing with a score of only two faults.

WACO, Texas – A baby named All American? With a last name of Woodard, if dad gets his way.
Coming off the biggest win of his 10-year PRCA career, team roping heeler Travis Woodard of Stephenville, Texas, joked that his upcoming first-born child just might be named in honor of his Oct. 13 championship.
For the Laughter, owned by Dr. Betsee Parker of Middleburg, VA and shown by Meredith Darst, was awarded the Grand Pony Hunter Championship, sponsored by the Bedard Family, at the 67th Annual Pennsylvania National Horse Show on Saturday afternoon. There were cheers and tears at the presentation as Dr. Parker was overcome with emotion over the latest accolades give to “Bubbles” as the pony is affectionately called.

The Zone 5 team captured the gold medal in the $15,000 Randolph College/USEF Prix de States Team Championship at the 67th Annual Pennsylvania National Horse Show on Friday evening. The team members were: Kalvin Dobbs of Tallahassee, FL riding Winde; Abigail McArdle of Barrington Hills, IL on Cosma 20; Lillie Ross of Wheaton, IL aboard Pako; and Catherine Tyree of Chicago, IL on Wetter.
Victoria Colvin and Dr. Betsee Parker Continue Their Winning Ways in the Junior Hunter Championships at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show
Victoria Colvin, 15, of Loxahatchee, FL, captured two of the four Junior Hunter Championship titles presented at the 67th Annual Pennsylvania National Horse Show on Friday, riding horses owned by Dr. Betsee Parker of Middleburg, VA.
Katherine “Katie” Pontone of Red Bank, NJ, and Wicked blazed to victory in the $4,000 North American League Pony Jumper Finals at the Opening Day of the 67th Annual Pennsylvania National Horse Show on Thursday evening. The pair managed the only double clear out of the four that made it into the jump-off. Pontone was surprised with the results.
