ELMONT, N.Y. – New York racing fans can watch and wager on all the action from the Breeders’ Cup World Championships next weekend when Aqueduct Racetrack opens for the fall meet on Friday, November 1 with a special eight-race live card.

Fans also can watch and wager on the full cards from Santa Anita on Friday and Saturday, along with racing from Aqueduct, at the Belmont Café simulcasting center.

First race post time at the Big A on Friday and Saturday is 12:25 p.m., with admission gates opening at 11 a.m. Post time have been coordinated to ensure that there is a minimum of 12 minutes before and after all Santa Anita races.

Happy hour specials will be offered at the Big A from 6 – 9 p.m. on Saturday night, with post time for the $5 million Breeders’ Cup Classic set for approximately 8:35 p.m. ET.

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) will offer advance wagering Friday on Saturday’s Breeders’ Cup card, as well as wagering on the Distaff/Classic Double, which will close at post time of the Distaff on Friday evening at approximately 7:35 p.m. ET. 

Advance wagering on Saturday’s card will be available on-track and through NYRA Rewards on all platforms. NYRA will offer the Breeders’ Cup wager amounts, including 50 cent minimums on trifectas, Pick 3’s, Pick 4’s, Pick 5’s and Super Hi 5’s on all platforms, including all teller windows. 

The first Breeders’ Cup race at Santa Anita on Friday is the Marathon, scheduled to go off at 4:45 p.m. ET. On Saturday, the first Breeders’ Cup race at Santa Anita is the Juvenile Fillies, with a post time of approximately 3:05 p.m.

NYRA will open expanded simulcasting areas on Friday with designated windows remaining open until the conclusion of Breeders’ Cup racing that night. On Saturday evening all mutuel windows will remain open until after the Breeders’ Cup Classic.

There also will be an eight-race live card on Saturday, when Aqueduct’s graded stakes program kicks off with the Grade 3, $200,000 Discovery Handicap for 3-year-olds.
